Africa’s beauty and personal care industry has a calendar stacked with business-to-business trade shows across the continent. Between November 2026 and June 2027, buyers, distributors, salon owners, and brand teams can visit major exhibitions in Addis Ababa, Dar es Salaam, Lagos, Nairobi, Algiers, Abidjan, Cairo, and Dakar. Many of these shows are young. Several are only in their third to seventh editions, and one opens for the first time in 2027. It signals the continent quickly becoming a priority market for cosmetics, fragrance, haircare, and hygiene suppliers from Europe, Asia, the Gulf, and Africa itself.
The exhibitions below run in date order. Most of these events have hosted-buyer programs that fly importers in from neighboring countries. For a supplier, the choice of show is therefore partly a choice of which regional distribution network to reach.
Perfora Expo Africa is the only show on this list to run two editions in two countries within one season. Its organizers describe it as an international trade fair for beauty products, hair, fragrances, and well-being. Face-to-face meetings between exhibitors and trade visitors are held over several days. Unlike some mixed consumer events in the region, this fair is open only to trade visitors.
The two editions are already set. The Ethiopian edition, the more established of the two, will run from October 30 to November 2, 2026, at the same Addis Ababa venue where it was held last year.
The show is managed by Trade and Fairs Consulting GmbH, which handles international sales from Germany, and Trade and Fairs East Africa Ltd, which handles sales across Africa. Trade and Fairs Consulting is based in Germany and has regional offices in Africa. In addition to organizing events, it advises governments on promoting industrial zones to foreign investors.
Exhibitors cover cosmetics and skincare; personal care and hygiene; hair, nails, and salon supplies; machinery, packaging, raw materials, and contract manufacturing; fragrance; spa equipment; and fitness. The organizer has not published an exhibitor list for either upcoming edition. Its listed industry partner is the Association of Cosmetologists Kenya, which suggests the Nairobi edition may lean on Kenya’s professional salon community.
Beauty Africa Expo is a relatively new (2019) show aimed at the Tanzanian market and the wider East and Central African region. Its stated aim is to connect international beauty and cosmetics companies with buyers in Tanzania and surrounding East and Central African countries. Visitors from 12 African countries and exhibitors from 15 countries on the continent are expected to participate. Product sectors are beauty and cosmetics, hair products and equipment, wellness and spa, fitness, and health and pharmaceuticals.
The organizer, Grow Exhibitions, is a Dubai-based company that runs trade shows in Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, and Uganda. Beauty Africa Expo will take place on the same dates as the company’s 17th Tanzania Trade Show, a general fair it describes as the largest trade exhibition in Tanzania. Brands visiting one show can therefore meet both audiences. The target visitor list is broad: importers, wholesalers, distributors, agents, retailers, beauty salons, spa owners, manufacturers, beauty academies, and senior government officials, although Grow Exhibitions has not published an exhibitor list for 2026.
Beauty West Africa is the biggest show on this calendar by exhibitor count. The organizer projects 7,000+ visitors, 400+ exhibitors, and 6 exhibition halls. The 2026 edition adds a sixth hall and new country pavilions, with more space for skincare, haircare, cosmetics, wellness, and fragrance.
The show, organized by BtoB Events, says it has 15 years of experience in Nigeria and West Africa, and is a member of the Association of Event Organisers (AEO). Its main selling point is distribution: The organizer says exhibitors come specifically to find African representatives and distributors. Its hosted-buyer program draws high-volume buyers from across the continent, including Ghana, Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Togo, Senegal, Benin, and Côte d’Ivoire.
The exhibitor listing on the show’s website is dominated by fragrance and Gulf brands, alongside Asian, Turkish, and African cosmetics makers. Names include Lattafa Perfumes, Emami International, Swiss Arabian Perfumes, French Arabian, Ebin New York, and Korea's trade agency KOTRA. Past exhibitors noted on the organizer's site include Al Haramain Perfumes of the UAE, Unilever Nigeria, and STORM Nigeria.
The show also partners with industry bodies, including Spa & Wellness Association of Africa, Cosmetics Association of Ghana, and Ghana National Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Each one helps bring buyers from its own market. A conference runs alongside the exhibition, with agendas and speakers published from 2023 to 2026.
The Africa Beauty Show is different from the other shows here. It mixes trade with consumer entertainment. Its website describes the show as an event featuring beauty brands, products, trends, experiences, and personalities in one place. Program features include a makeover-based Glow-Up Challenge, a Beauty Creator Studio for social media content, and an evening event called Beauty Night Out.
The organizer, FW Brands MEA, is based in Nairobi, and claims to amass 10,000+ attendees and 200+ sponsors and exhibitors. The show runs alongside three other FW Brands events: the Kenya Food & Drink Festival, the Africa Health & Wellness Expo, and the Africa Hotels & Travel Expo.
The floor is split into a Beauty & Glam Zone, a Hair, Fashion & Style Zone, and a Spa, Luxury & Beauty Business Zone. The consumer focus suits brands testing direct-to-consumer demand more than those seeking distributors.
Formerly known as Cosmetica Algeria and Cosmetica North Africa, Cosmetica Africa opens the 2027 calendar. Organizers expect over 75,000 professionals. The 2027 edition will also feature a new layout: the Central Pavilion for raw materials, packaging, machinery, and manufacturing, and the Palestine Pavilion for cosmetics, fragrance, hygiene, and beauty brands.
The show began in 2022. The organizer reports that its 2026 edition attracted over 300 exhibiting companies from more than 17 countries, and more than 55,000 visitors. It is held under the patronage of Algeria’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion. According to its listed contacts, the organizing team works under the Legacy Exhibitions banner, and a trade directory names the organizer as Global Events Algeria.
Much of the brand presence is Algerian. The official sponsor is Girene. Laboratoires Venus and Labonedjma are diamond sponsors, Turkey’s Seluz is a badge sponsor, and Froma is a gold sponsor. Testimonials on the site come from past exhibitors Dermactive, Myla, Labonedjma, Ines Cosmetics, and Concept Emballage.
A program of conferences and workshops covers consumer habits, formulation, and packaging. The show is a natural fit for suppliers of ingredients, packaging, and contract manufacturing who want to reach Algeria and North Africa’s growing local production base.
The International Cosmetics, Beauty & Hygiene Exhibition, known as CBH Expo, targets Francophone West Africa. The organizer is ATLM Expo of Istanbul, which also has an Abidjan office. ATLM runs fairs in more than 20 countries and covers sectors from construction to cosmetics, fashion, and HVAC-R. The 2027 show follows an edition held April 16-18, 2026, at the same venue. That edition reported 95+ participating brands, 6,450 visitors, and 14 participating countries. Hosted buyers came from Burkina Faso, Mali, Senegal, Gabon, Ghana, Benin, Togo, Guinea, Niger, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Cameroon.
Exhibitors highlighted in the 2026 post-show report include Tılla, Bargello, Mad Parfüm, KAERA, Cosmo Cosmetics, Maria Pi and Plein Sud, with a strong Turkish presence. Conference speakers came from Maria Pi Cosmetics, Kiko Milano sub-Saharan Africa, Yohou Cosmetics, and Ayes Essentielle. The organizer thanked Côte d'Ivoire’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the investment promotion center CEPICI, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for their support.
For planning purposes, note that CBH Expo takes place on the same dates as the new Nilex Beauty Expo (see below) in Cairo.
Nilex Beauty Expo is the newest show on this list. Its first edition will cover beauty, fragrance, and home care, across 10,000 sq. m. of exhibition space.
Organizers aim to attract more than 150 exhibitors from over 10 countries, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Turkey, China, Pakistan, South Africa, France, Italy, and Spain. They also target more than 10,000 trade visitors from 15 countries, including Gulf, North African and sub-Saharan markets such as Nigeria, Kenya, and Ghana. Detergent and cleaning technology is part of the scope, which sets Nilex apart from most beauty-only fairs.
Planned features include online one-to-one meeting booking before the show, a hosted-buyer program for importers from Africa and the Middle East, a “Launchpad Area” for product launches, and a conference on e-commerce, clean beauty, and supply chain resilience.
Egy Beauty Africa is the more established Cairo option, with its seventh edition held in April 2026. It covers cosmetics, beauty, perfumes, and fragrances. The organizer’s photo archive dates back to 2018, and the show used the name Egy Beauty Expo until 2024.
The organizer is Universal Trade Fairs for Exhibitions and Conferences (UTFA), and the show is supported by Egypt’s Ministry of Trade and Industry. The 2025 edition reported 302 exhibitors, 150+ hosted buyers and 20,204 trade visitors from 55+ countries. A 2026 fact sheet listed exhibitors from China, Turkey, France, Brazil, Italy, India, Pakistan, the UK, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, the USA, South Africa, and Egypt. Hosted buyers came from across sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East.
Featured exhibitors include fragrance houses Al Haramain and Alrehab Perfumes, Iberchem (part of Croda), Fragrance Science, Egyptian brands Kandeel and Venus, and packaging firms First Plast and Master PET. National pavilions have come from India, Turkey, Brazil, Morocco, South Africa, China, Russia, and Italy. The show also runs a B2B buyer program and a Hair Stage Show.
BCH West Africa, the International Exhibition for Beauty, Cosmetics and Hygiene, closes this calendar with its seventh edition, alongside the Senefood and Senepack food and packaging fairs. The show, organized by Turkey’s Hage Grup and SISEMI Sénégal, presents Senegal as a gateway to West Africa, citing its political stability and its free-trade membership in the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). They say the show addresses a market of 300 million people around Dakar and the wider region.
Its headline figures are modest compared to Lagos or Cairo. The organizer reports 128+ buying delegations, 48+ exhibitors, and 380 B2B meetings, with post-show reports available for 2023, 2024, and 2025. That makes it a smaller show built around arranged meetings, not a large exhibition hall.
The organizers have not published participating brands for 2027. Exhibitors who also sell food or packaging products may find the co-located shows a cost-effective way to reach Senegalese buyers in one trip.
